Always observed his filial duties though his parents were stubborn and obstinate
Even the wild elephants became tame and plowed his fields
Good against evil, kindness will always rewarded

古 人 有 舜 在 歷 山 耕 田 。 其 父 母 皆 頑 梗 。 不 講 仁 義 忠 信 。 而 大 舜 事 之 極 孝 順 。 田 常 有 象 代 舜 耕 田 。 有 鳥 代 舜 耕 草 。 可 知 人 能 行 善 。 則 由 天 遣 神 祐 。 可 免 辛 苦 。 若 行 惡 。 象 不 代 他 耕 田 矣 。 此 即 可 以 分 出 善 惡 。

求得此簽者。為善吉。作惡凶。就此簽而論。亦當作為吉。

此簽亦作：虞舜耕田。廿四孝故事。 。
