歐洲議會選舉１６號候選人－華人青年張敬龍獲得菲律賓社團支持，表示在競選最後一周，會繼續努力，擴闊票源，為華人爭取歐洲議會零的突破。

菲律賓青年組織「菲律賓新一代」的信託人卡羅斯表示：張敬龍參選是英國亞裔歷史上一個里程碑，他們為張敬龍感到自豪。他說：「不少菲律賓移民都面對華人相近的問題，需要有人代表我們爭取權益。張敬龍不但有年青人的衝勁，更有多年參政及在公共事務上實質工作的經驗。他代表亞裔人士參選，對我們有極大的啟發。我們將會全力支持他，希望他成功當選。」

查寧閣圖書館與華心會合辦『寧心盃全英第一屆攝影比賽』

查寧閣圖書館與華心會携手主辦攝影比賽, 主題為『華人動感的一面』, 收集作品時間由即日起至六月三日止, 照片務必是原創, 參加者年齡不限, 每位最多可遞交作品三份, 每幅照片尺寸是A3或A4。

每幅照片除必須附上五十字的簡單說明外，也請附上姓名、 電話或電郵地址, 並請列明作品拍攝的時間。
