倫敦國際廣播電台數碼化並加設普通話節目

英國廣播技術進入數碼年代，倫敦華人收聽多年之《城市好時光》節目亦於本月(11月)正式轉移到DAB數碼頻道播放。該節目更將延長廣播時間，推出普通話節目，並成立24小時之網上音樂頻道，讓倫敦以外的聽眾亦可收聽華人的節目。

倫敦國際廣播電台華人節目監製愛麗詩表示：「我們於去年進行了數碼試播，聽眾的反應都十分熱烈。新的數碼頻道相比舊式的ＡＭ頻道，音色更佳更清晰，又有不少先進的功能，如暫停收聽及節目錄音等。最難得是新的數碼頻道可以容納更多不同的節目，讓我們可以延長廣播時間，推出全新的普通話節目，服務更廣泛的華人社區。」
