1. 英航操控附加費 面臨集體訴訟
英國航空公司承認於2004年8月至2006年1月期間，與競爭對手維珍航空操控燃油附加費價格。因此，英航被英國公平貿易辦事處(OFT)罰款1.2億英鎊，創下英國企業違反競爭法的最高額罰款。而美國商務部亦向英航罰款5億美元。OFT指出，維珍職員向OFT舉報，OFT於是與美國司法部於去年6月展開調查。英航歸咎公司少數職員的反競爭行為釀成今次風波，並強調乘客在事件中未有蒙受損失。你相信乘客在事件中沒有蒙受損失嗎？你是否受影響的乘客之一？最近你有由香港乘飛機返倫敦嗎？有沒有一些難忘事可與大家分享？
British Airways has been fined £121.5m by the Office of Fair Trading after it admitted price fixing of fuel surcharges on long-haul flights. 2. 九龍皇帝 皇后碼頭 集體回憶
近年，「集體回憶」一詞頻頻曝光。香港的「九龍皇帝」曾灶財於上月十五日病逝，在港人為「集體回憶」爭取下，香港政府近日宣布不會清洗現時僅存的九龍皇帝作品，並會考慮如何進一步保存。但港人的另一「集體回憶」皇后碼頭則逃不過被清拆的命運。你如何看待「集體回憶」？你認同九龍皇帝的作品及皇后碼頭是香港人的「集體回憶」嗎？在時代發展與「集體回憶」間應如何取得平衡？對於倫敦的華人，有甚麼是值得保存的「集體回憶」？
With the passing of Hong Kong's graffiti king Tsang Tsou-choi's at 86 and the conservation conflict of the Queen's Pier, what is your view on Heritage Preservation in Hong Kong? And what would be the highest on your list of Heritage Preservation for the UK Chinese community?
3. 華人黑幫情節 = 反華？
日前中國電檢處指成龍主演的《火拼時速3》的華人黑幫情節含反華意味，不排除禁映。數日前電影公司正式宣布該片在內地沒有市場，所以未能於內地上映。電影真正被禁映的原因不得而知。你是否認同在電影中出現華人黑幫情節是反華？
那麼在電影中出現其他種族的黑幫人物又是否反某一民族的舉動或種族歧視？你認為華人演員及華語電影在荷李活的發展如何？
Jackie Chan's new movie "Rush HOurs 3" will not be screened in mainland China. Some it is because the film's racial humor, as well as its depiction of Chinese Triad, were judged to be anti-Chinese. What is your view on this? What do you think about the Chinese satrs working in Hollywood?
4. 開開心心放暑假
倫敦聚居了不同種族的人，華人是其中之一。與從前相比，現在多了不少華人社區中心為華人服務。依士靈頓華人協會除致力服務華人外，亦不忘促進種族和諧。最近舉辦的兒童藝術課程，不但為小朋友帶來開心的暑假，也不忘以此為目的。在倫敦，你認為有足夠的華人服務嗎？你認為各種族是否相處融洽？有沒有與其他種族人士相處的經歷？對於促進種族和諧有甚麼建議？

Good to see more summer activities for the kids. I remember my summer holiday. Always work for my dad's chippie. At least it give me lot of experience to run my own Chinese TAkeaway these day LOL

It is just silly to say any film with Chinese Triad is Anti-Chinese. Look at God Father? It won Oscars. And when I meet Italian, I don't think they are all Mafia after seeing the Sopranos TV Series.

Actually Mr Fatboyfat, if you do a quick search on Italian and Sopranos, you will see that the Italian-American groups did protest about the Sopranos series in 2002. Something we are so use to the racial sterotypes, we took it as normal. I think the Chinese Governament is right to take a stand.

It is alll blowing out of proportion. Someone have to play the baddie in a movies. There are lot of Chinese film who disparage the White guys. I don't here anyone from the mainland complain. It is just jingoistic narrow-mindedness.

My most treasur memories is the ugly Chinese Phone Boxes in Chinatown. I made so many call home once upon a time. We need to keep them safe in Chinatown for our collective memories

I always travel on BA because my family always travelled on them. This scandal really make me think. I am really shock they do that when there are so many competitions around. I think they try to advertise a low price to attract you to book, then lay on the extra fuel charges to make the real profit and it is hard to compare the prices with taxes among other airline!!

I would vote for wong kee restaurant for collective memories. I think everyone who have been to chinatwon would always remember the rude waiters in the restaurant, even lots of english magazines talk about it.

很同意吳博士的觀點。我有時會擔心小朋友在校內被人欺負，擔心小朋友交不到朋友，或者認息壞朋友。如果有個兒童藝術中心，給小朋友學些東西，交些乖點的朋友，絕對係好事。

We are on summer holiday now. I suppose the Chinese Art Class is a good idea, but Islington is too far for us. We will be visiting Hong Kong, so won't be joining any course here anyway.

荷李活片常有不同民族的黑幫分子，觀眾看了根本不會一郵竹篙打一船人。尊龍也是拍了荷李活第一部華人黑幫片龍年才開始成名。荷李活拍意大利黑幫更多，最經典的教父便十分成功。

記得小時在不同地方都會見到曾灶財的大字，真的可說是伴我成長的。英國唐人街的牌樓設計總令人覺得有些偷工減料，所以談不上什麼集團回憶，就算拆掉了也不覺得可惜。

美國人很少投訴被人抺黑。一個有自信的民族，根本不會在乎別人說什麼。好像港姐朱玲玲，你說他是醜八怪，她一定不會在乎，因為人人都說他靚，你抺黑她，反而會被人笑你神經病。

What a fun discussion. I think BA should pay back all the charges. It might not be a lot for the customers individually, but collectively it is million. I much rather have my 10 pound than give it to the BA fat cat!!

Hi there. I just want to say well done to a great show. I think all the airlines not only BA take a lot of stealth charges. I never undertand all the fuel charges and taxes. I once brought an airticket for 99p then pay almost £50 for tax and other charges. I don't mind paying for it, but I think the goovernment need to make all the airline come clean and explain the charges clearer and more transparent!

Can I ask if anyone have seen Rush Hour 3? It should be banned not because it contains derogatory storyline about the Chinese. It should be banned because it is such a boring and tired-formula movie. It is fun to see Maggie Q, but she dies half way haha

Racial harmony is just any idealist dream like communism. People are so different from different races, there will always be conflits becuase of the differences. People need to recognise this and stop thinking everyone will fall into this harmonised world. So we need to learn the method of living together without stepping on others' toes.
