Will Tang, singer songwriter and harmonica maestro from Rochdale, took the long way round to get into the British music scene, making a name for himself first in Hong Kong before returning to Manchester to launch his UK career.

With school finally out and a mind for adventure, Will popped a blues harp in his pocket and set off to travel the world. Following his Anglo-Chinese heritage eastwards, he stopped of in Hong Kong, where he quickly found himself at home and decided to stay.

After jamming around in bars for a while, Will's talents were spotted by the local music industry and he soon found himself playing sessions for pop stars and film, and eventually releasing five albums of his own.

Credited for bringing the blues harp to 'Canto-pop', Will has performed across Asia, and worked alongside artists as varied as Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, Danny Summer, Tommy Emmanuel, Duke Robillard and Simon Le Bon!

Not one to rest on his laurels, Will then decided it was time to bring it on home to the UK and after some time on the British blues circuit, he went
straight to the heart of Manchester and teamed up with Andy Votel for his first UK single release 'Love Bites'(Remix) - now sold out after getting plays on BBC and playlisted at XFM and The Ministry of Sound.

Will is now planning his debut UK album release; "It's a reflection on my journey so far, with a mix of musical influences", says Will, "from blues
masters such as Muddy Waters, through greats like Hendrix, Dylan, and Zeppelin, to the more contemporary White Stripes, Ray LaMontagne and Jack
Johnson to name just a few. I like a lot of different styles of music and I think that comes across on the album."

With growing interest within the UK, and with tracks from the new album already played on Spectrum Radio, BBC Radio and more, don't be surprised to hear a lot more about Will Tang in the near future.
